Monday:

We went over chapter 9 and I assigned pg547p12.

Wednesday:

We’ll covered chapters 10 and 11. Assigned pg606p14 and pg647p3.

Last week you took the third and final test. You also turned in all of your assignments on Wednesday. I’ll be updating the resources area with answers to various project questions. This week you’ll be taking the final. You can take the final today Monday or Wednesday. You can expect grades posted Thursday.

We reviewed chapter 12 again. I wrote a class example in class. I said to read chapter 13. Next class we will cover that. Review the class after that and take the test the class after that. I also assigned pg787p2. That is the last assignment for this course.

Last class we talked about the project, went over your grades in the course and looked at some problems. We started covering chapter 12.

Today we went over more of chapter 12, we worked some problems and went from there. I assigned pg722p1.

Less than a month left start turning in assignments.

So the second of April there was no class per the calendar. The wednesday before class was cancelled b/c I was stuck at work.

Today we talked a lot about your semester project. We went over chapter 11 and I assigned pg647p3. Deadline for homework/assignments/project is less than a month away.

We have a test next class over chapters 6-10. We talked about random number generation. Look up Poisson, Gaussian, and Euclid. Also check out Antikythera. Things to remember for the written part of the test: File IO, for loops, sorting, and functions. Remember that vectors are your friends, get to know them well!

After a nice refreshing spring break we are back in the swing of things. We worked on chapter 10. I assigned pg605p2, pg606p12 (optional), and pg606p13 (optional). We will finish chapter 10 next class. We’ll review the later part of the class. Monday the 26th we’ll take a test over chapters 6-10. Be there if you want to get a grade for it. In addition be sure you are turning in assignments as the semester end is approaching fast.

We finished namespaces and chapter 9. Assigned pg544p7. We have to cover chapter 10. Then review and the second test. We went over possible ways to store the data for the project.

We worked on one of the homework problems from pg414.  We covered most of chapter 8 except namespaces. I assigned pg470p3 and pg 470p4. Be sure you have talked with your group members by next class. You should start flowcharting and planning your project at this point. Also, for those that are behind with turning assignments in. Get on the ball, the semester is almost half over! If you don’t have a book you need to get one NOW!

I discussed the semeter project and assigned teams. We covered chapter 7. I also assigned pg414p7, pg415p8 (optional), and pg416p9 (optional).
