Monday: Worked on chapter 7. Assigned pg566p5.

Uploaded new HandAnalysis class and documentation.

Wednesday: Chapter 8. Assigned pg635p1.

The Deck and HandAnalysis classes are both completed. I would download them and start coding. I’ll be adding and changing some comments as we go but the method names should not be changing. If you have problems please let me know.

Also I generated some JavaDoc for the classes still working on some of the JavaDoc comments for HandAnalysis.

Monday:

We finished chapter 6 and talked about the project. I assigned pg343p6.

Wednesday:

We went over chapters 7 and 8. I assigned pg415p8 and pg471p6.

Finished talking about input from chapter 1. We covered chapter 2 in class. I assigned pg125p2 and pg126p6.

I defined the semester project as a poker game. Details to follow on the projects page.

We went over chapter 4 and 5. Assigned pg227p8 (optional) and pg302p5.

So the second of April there was no class per the calendar. The wednesday before class was cancelled b/c I was stuck at work.

Today we talked a lot about your semester project. We went over chapter 11 and I assigned pg647p3. Deadline for homework/assignments/project is less than a month away.

I discussed the semeter project and assigned teams. We covered chapter 7. I also assigned pg414p7, pg415p8 (optional), and pg416p9 (optional).

Discussed semester project. Question asked about homework from chapter 2. Part ‘m’ of the problem you can just copy and paste your program twice to run the two tests. We went over chapter 3. I assigned ‘pg165p4′. ‘pg165p8′ is optional, as in I will grade it but it will not be counted in the grade book.

Some of you are having problems with Visual C++ quiting the dialog box before you can see it. Try this:

Or something similar.

Be sure to use the code guidelines. Remember all assignments are due the last day of class before the final by midnight.
